Organized by the Department of Spanish Language and Literature, Faculty of Foreign Languages, within the scope of the "Language, Culture, and Translation Talks" series, the program was held on February 19, 2025, at the Sezai Karakoç Hall in the ASBU Rectorate Building.
Featuring Prof. Dr. İlhami Sığırcı as the speaker, the talk covered the history of the Toledo School of Translators, its translation activities, and the interaction of different cultures in the Andalusian region. The event, attended by academics, students, and interested individuals, concluded with a Q&A session.

El programa, organizado por el Departamento de Lengua y Literatura Españolas de la Facultad de Lenguas Extranjeras en el marco de los eventos "Charlas de Lengua, Cultura y Traducción", tuvo lugar el 19 de febrero de 2025 en el Salón Sezai Karakoç del Edificio del Rectorado de la ASBÜ.
En la charla, impartida por el Prof. Dr. İlhami Sığırcı, se abordaron la historia de la Escuela de Traductores de Toledo, sus actividades de traducción y la interacción de diferentes culturas en la geografía andalusí. El evento, que contó con la participación de académicos, estudiantes y público interesado, concluyó con una sesión de preguntas y respuestas.
